STARTING PRESCHOOL

So the boys started preschool this week.  The boys love it and ask everyday if it is school day.  They go on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours.  They go to St. Peter's Lutheran Preschool and it really is a great program.   It is good for them to be learning so much and since they are twins it is good for them to be around other children to get other perspectives and good peer pressure.  Already they try more foods then they ever do at home.
For me it is a bitter sweet first.  I love that they learning and even growing up.  But, as silly as it sounds it is strange not having them around for those two hours.  It is also a reminder of how steadily they will spend more and more time at school and our time during the days will be no more.  Being a mom is my dream job and preschool reminds me how it is a temporary job for me.  It is funny how 5 years can seem long, but once you are getting close it feels very short.  Lets just say when full time school comes I probably will be a mess!  I am glad it is not over and I will savor this last year we have together.

Wow, I guess time does go by fast when they are twins. It must be bitter sweet seeing them grow up. Wonderful that they are doing well and trying new foods and such, but sad that they will be gone to school before you know it. I am grateful to have some time with my boys gone so that I get some time with my girls... then having the boys back is fun too. I guess the thought that one day they'll all be gone is strange. It seems so far away, and yet I know it will come sooner than I think!

Hey Girl!! How fun that you have a blog too! I added you to the blogs on my list...I love keeping up with people that way! I don't even know how you did it with twins. I think, "Man...how in the world would I fit more than one in here...I feel stretched to the max as it is!" :-) Kudos to you girl!
